Instrument usage:
Carpet static electricity tester (walking experiment method) is used to test the static electricity performance of carpets. The accumulation of static electricity generated by friction during the production and use of carpets can endanger human health and environmental safety, so static electricity performance is an important indicator of carpet quality. The principle of a carpet static electricity tester is that the experimenter walks on a sample with standard testing shoes and electrodes in hand. The friction between the sole of the shoe and the carpet generates a voltage, and the instrument records its voltage curve.
